Day 1 Belfast to Lough Neagh

Arrived Belfast on time, 0630. Irish Sea was flat calm overnight and the ferry peaceful.
Downtown Belfast was like a ghost town, and a bit of a frustration finding the cycle trail out of town, but once on the Lagan River it was a different world. Lots of wildlife, runners and a few cyclists. An easy ride to Lisburn and chance of a tea and breakfast muffin 😋
Back on the minor roads past Long Kesh and Maze through flat farmland to Moira then a tea break by the canal tow path and onto small roads to Lough Neigh.

Chatted to a couple of fellas releasing elvers. The Lough is the largest inland lake in the UK
55 miles in total. And then we had to cycle to the airport to get some food for dinner. Our hosts have offered to BBQ for us. https://connect.garmin.com/modern/activity/11058917496?share_unique_id=13
